A look outside the box into volleyball. Dr. Carl McGown, one of the world’s most influential coaches, has died in the US. I have already reported on this. At this point I will not point out his many successes. Perhaps without knowing it, every coach of the world of volleyball applies his knowledge and not only volleyball coaches benefit from the knowledge that comes back to Carl McGown. I have also called on him in this blog several times.

Ein Blick über den Tellerrand in den Volleyball. Dr. Carl McGown, einer der einflussreichsten Trainer der Welt, ist in den USA verstorben. Darüber habe ich schon berichtet. Ich will an dieser Stelle nicht auf seine vielen Erfolge hinweisen. Vielleicht ohne es zu wissen, wendet wohl jeder Trainer der Volleyball-Welt sein Wissen an und nicht nur Volleyball-Coaches profitieren vom Wissen, das auf Carl McGown zurück geht. Ich habe mich in diesem Blog ebenfalls schon mehrfach auf auf ihn berufen.
